Wash Gently
- Cool is Best: Wash your socks at 30°C or 40°C. High heat can break down the natural cotton fibers and the elasticity over time.
- Inside Out: Turning your socks inside out before washing protects the outer finish from friction.
- Like with Like: Wash with similar colors to maintain the vibrancy of the dyes.
Dry Naturally
- Air Dry: Whenever possible, lay your socks flat or hang them to air dry.
- Skip the Dryer: High heat in dryers is the leading cause of lost elasticity and shrinkage. Air drying preserves the shape.
Avoid the Extras
- No Bleach: Harsh chemicals will weaken the premium cotton fibers.
- Skip Softeners: Softeners can coat the cotton fibers and reduce their natural breathability and moisture-wicking abilities.
The "Sock Pairing" Tip
